Melis Arslan is an Istanbul-based sculptor and visual artist working across sculpture, ceramics, glass, and mixed media. She graduated from the Sculpture Department of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts and completed her MA in Textile and Fashion Design at Beykent University.

Her practice explores Anatolian visual culture, particularly Seljuk, Hittite, and Phrygian imagery, mythology, symbolism, and the contemporary reinterpretation of historical forms through material experimentation.

Her teaching interests include sculpture, ceramics, glass molding and kiln-forming, relief and surface studies, material experimentation, and ancient visual cultures.
