Biyografi:
Mohsen Karami was born in Amol, Iran. He completed his university education in Graphic Design, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's degree, and is currently a Ph.D. researcher in Islamic Arts. For over two decades, he has worked as a visual artist, focusing on Iranian and Islamic calligraphy and painting, while conducting theoretical and practical research in these fields.
His areas of expertise include comparative art studies, the philosophy of art within Iranian studies, Islam, and the Far East. In terms of research perspectives, he is particularly interested in Illuminationist philosophy (Hikmat al-Ishraq), phenomenology, and hermeneutics. His work in these areas has led to the publication of articles and lectures on Persian miniature painting, calligraphy, and Illuminationist philosophy.
In terms of practical activities, he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions at both national and international levels. Additionally, his professional engagements include membership in specialized art associations and presenting papers at academic conferences.
